Miss Global Ambassador Nigeria Queen Jennifer Okorie Extends love to the helpless kids in Lagos Miss Jennifer Okorie embarked on her first project after emerging as the winner of the maiden edition of Miss Global Ambassador Nigeria pageant. The project which has been coded as FAST – 17, (Feed And Save Tomorrow 2017) shall drive through various states in the country, reaching out to the kids living in the creeks who may not have access to portable water or good food, and shall extend love to them by feeding these kids for a day. The first phase of the Feed And Save Tomorrow (FAST) charity campaign started in Lagos as the queen alongside her team stormed Ijora and Apapa-Iganmu where they distributed foods stuffs plus other gift items to the helpless kids in the district. Iris Mittenaere, a 23-year-old dental student from France, won the Miss Universe crown on Monday in Manila, Philippines, where it was held this year. Miss Tanzanian 2016, Queen Nazil, from Ilala area in Dar es Salaam, was attacked by a gang of robbers last Saturday night after being dropped at home by a friend. “She had just arrived home after a night out with friends; and when she was waiting for her sister to open the gate, two men on a motorbike ambushed her, demanding she gives them her handbag,” said a friend. “Since the handbag had her phone, iPhone 6 model, TSh200, 000 (KSh9, 400) and other valuables,the Queen tried to resist, and that is when one member of the gang cut her in the head with a knife.
