Critics Urge Greater Accountability, Question Leadership of Health Minister Kwabena Akandoh

Image
Critics of Ghana's healthcare administration have renewed calls for greater transparency, accountability, and accelerated reforms within the country's health sector, while raising concerns about the leadership of the Minister of Health, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh. The calls come amid ongoing public discussions about challenges facing the healthcare system, including access to quality medical services, inadequate infrastructure, shortages of healthcare personnel, and the availability of essential medicines and equipment. While acknowledging efforts by the Ministry of Health to address these issues, some healthcare stakeholders and civil society advocates argue that reforms have not progressed quickly enough. They have urged the ministry to improve communication with the public and provide clearer updates on policies, priorities, and measurable outcomes. Boss Director Is Building an Afro-Fusion Career on Intention, Not Noise

Image
Boss Director Is Building an Afro-Fusion Career on Intention, Not Noise. Boss Director In an era where African music is expanding faster than the systems built to support it, visibility is often mistaken for impact. Streams spike, names trend, and disappear just as quickly. Against this backdrop, Boss Director, born Onazi Moses Oche, is quietly assembling something more durable: a career shaped by intention, restraint, and a clear sense of self. Born on September 6, 1996, and raised in Benue State, Nigeria, Boss Director carries his Idoma identity into his work without turning it into spectacle. Now based in Lagos, he operates within Afro-fusion, but not as a genre-hopper chasing algorithms. His music draws from Afrobeats, street sensibilities, and modern global rhythms, yet remains anchored in emotional clarity and controlled delivery. The result is a sound that travels without losing its centre. Over the past year, his releases including Hot Trick, Pressure, Shaolin, and Arike h...

Sineli Telecoms Rolls Out Detty December eSIM Initiative to Ease Travel Connectivity Challenge

Image
Sineli Telecoms has launched a seasonal connectivity initiative aimed at easing mobile data challenges faced by travellers during the December peak travel period, widely referred to as Detty December. The initiative comes as international travel volumes surge during the festive season, a time when many travellers encounter connectivity difficulties immediately upon arrival. Common challenges include high roaming charges, unreliable public Wi-Fi, and delays associated with purchasing physical SIM cards. According to the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sineli Telecoms, Ayo Afonja, the initiative was designed to respond to a recurring pain point within the global travel ecosystem. “December is one of the busiest travel periods globally, and it consistently exposes how difficult it can be for travellers to stay connected immediately after landing,” Afonja said. “Reliable connectivity has become a basic travel expectation, yet it is still not guaranteed in many destinations.” As part...
