A Nigerian man who has been identified Daniel Entony Daberechukwu, has been arraigned in court for allegedly rap!ng a 19-year-old campus beauty queen, Miss United States International University Africa (USIU), Nneka Enyantu Obi. Though Daniel has denied rap!ng Nneka, however it was gathered that suspect reportedly committed the offence on March 19, 2017,after the complainant attended a friend’s birthday party at Thika Road Mall alongside the raped beauty queen. Miss Rattana Ramchatu the newly crowned beauty queen, has lost her life in a car accident on the 1st day of June, approximately four days after she was crowned Miss Grand Uthai Thani 2017. The late beauty queen’s death occurred as she was traveling from Chompon to Bangkok to fulfill some charity works in fulfillment of her pageant promises. Tap Sakae Poilce reported that the accident happened on the Petkasem in-bound highway in front of Tao Sakae electricity office. According to them, Rattana and her friend were in the car when the accident took place and the friend who was at the steering wheel got severely injured. Late Rattana Ramchatu was set to represent her province in the Miss Grand International Thailand 2017 to be held on 18th July.
