The event which is on going at New York, kicked off on 14th February and themed INNOVATION AND COLLABORATION OF THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS. Model charged to court for trying to kill husband's second wife

Tara Lambert, a former model is accused of trying to hire a hit man to kill the mother of her two stepdaughters. . . The 35-year-old Ashville woman pleaded not guilty and denied all charges. Lambert is suing her original attorney claiming he provided ineffective counsel. . . The model intended to kill her husband's ex-wife, Kellie Cooke. Lambert’s intentions came into light when the hit man she hired turned to be an undercover police officer. Lambert suggested the officer to use a wood chipper to dispose of Mrs. Cooke's body. . . The model insisted in court that she was merely joking but was found guilty after further investigation. Tara was arrested after giving the undercover police officer a photograph of Kellie Cooke and a $125 payment to have her killed.

Beauty Queen dethroned after Calling pageant scam

Miss Bikinis Asia Singapore 2016 winner and Miss Singapore Cosmopolitan World 2016 Melissa Chua was stripped of her title after she accused the pageant organization on social media as a “scam” company that allegedly sells titles. Chua has her own business setup where she sells gowns on rental to a retail shop called The Gown Club, having said that a rival company is copying her gown ideas social media posts and even stole her firm’s images without permission. This began the onset of accusations with Chua further calling it as bogus beauty pageant. Adding further, Chua remarks that there are lots of hidden costs associated with joining a pageant by the company. She revealed that contestants had to pay for registration cards and for advertisements on the pageant magazine which run for about $1,500 a page. Fire burn down Nigerian foremost Fashion house "Vivid imagination" (Photos)

Vivid Imagination, one of Nigeria’s oldest fashion brands, lost millions of naira on Friday following an early morning fire that engulfed its main store and factory located at Falemi House, Obanikoro, Lagos. According to reports, the fire which must have been caused by a power surge, started at about 2am, and raged for hours before it was put out by men of the Lagos State Fire Service assisted by some well-wishers. By the time the dust had settled, the store, which is home to the company and client’s fabrics, clients’ ready-to-be-delivered outfits, ready-made clothes, shoes, accessories and documents, was completely razed and virtually all the machines were burnt.
