At the Miss Romania Universe Pageant finale round, Ioana Mihalache was crowned as Miss Universe Romania 2017.


. She defeated other 23 contestants competing for the title and will now represent Romania at Miss Universe 2017 pageant to be held this month in Las Vegas, USA. Ioana is 26 years of age and is not a fresh face in the world of pageantry.


. Earlier, she competed in Miss Universe Romania 2012 and was declared the first runner- up. Later, she represented Romania in Miss Earth 2013. Last year, she also represented Romania in Miss Grand International 2016.

According to Ozoya, Gifty was a contestant with good behavior at the the beauty pageant where she reached the final stage.
